This document outlines the technical details of the Kiwis Count Survey, including methodology, sampling, weighting and data analysis.
Kiwis Count is a continuous survey which allows the approach to the survey to be improved from month to month. This document was written after two quarters of surveying, so the examples are based on the first few months of interviewing. It will be updated over the life of the survey to keep track of changes to the methodology.
Survey findings are published in separate reports on a quarterly basis.
