As part of a wider research programme to understand New Zealanders' experiences of State Services, the SSC commissioned UMR Research to undertake qualitative research with users of State Services. The case studies form an important part of SSC's qualitative research programme. The experiences are mixed. Some are very positive and others are highly critical. The cases represent how these people felt about the service they received. The experiences are not representative of the New Zealand population. In the spirit of learning from our research we have provided all of the agencies mentioned in the case studies with copies. The cases are anonymous and agencies have not been invited to respond to them, except where policies or practices may have changed. Download/print this survey report either as a large file or three smaller files.
